While fishing the Outer Banks with Capt. Ches you will have your choice of inshore, nearshore, and offshore fishing. A half day trip allows you to explore the sound and inlet for Flounder, Bluefish, Red Drum, or even Cobia and Striped bass when conditions are right.
Adding a couple more hours to your trip gives you the choice to venture into the ocean, where you can fish the towers and wrecks for Amberjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, and more.
On the other hand, a full day trip has no boundaries—spend the day fishing inshore or head up to 25 miles out in search of big game trophies. Bottom fishing offshore is a chance to catch some of the tastiest fish in the sea, including Seabass, Triggerfish, and Tilefish.
Outer Banks Outdoors provides a license, bait, and Penn fishing gear. Trips run from February to November.

You’ll be casting lines from a 25’ Parker walkaround with space for up to 6 passengers. The East Way is perfect for shallow water fishing on the Outer Banks. She has state-of-the-art Garmin electronics with radar and side-view sonar. The 300hp Suzuki outboard is mounted on a porta bracket for the shallow water Trout and Drum fishing our sounds are known for.

This is a four-hour trip fishing nearshore for a variety of fish, such as flounder, red drum, sheepshead, triggerfish, bluefish, as well as cobia and striped bass when conditions allow.
A 3/4-day fishing charter is a 6-hour adventure in the sound or ocean, depending on the species of fish being targeted.
A full-day fishing charter is an 8-hour adventure in the ocean.
An extended offshore trip is a 10+ hour trip in the ocean with endless possibilities.

2.5-hour kid-friendly family adventure in the sound. This trip is designed for families with kids who want to have fun! Kids will be in the action with rods in hand, bottom fishing. If you don't want to fish, you can also make this trip into a sightseeing adventure, touring the Outer Banks islands and marshes. We almost always see dolphins swimming along with a variety of birds flying overhead.
4-hour trip fishing in the sound around bridges, flats, and marsh edges. There are many species of fish in our area to target, such as red drum, black drum, grey trout, speckled trout, sheepshead, flounder, and many more. This trip is in the sound/inlet, so generally calmer water, which is great for beginners or families with kids. The sightseeing is a bonus!
This is an extended 4-hour trip that allows us to fish different spots we can not fish on a 1/2 day trip. This trip gives us more time to venture into the ocean for some wreck fishing and a chance to catch cobia and big drum when available!
Our full day (8-hour) trip is 100% customizable! We can mix it up and fish in the sound for trout, drum, sheepshead, flounder, etc., then venture into the ocean for some wreck fish like amberjack, triggerfish, black seabass, spanish mackerel, king mackerel, cobia, or mahi when the conditions are right.
**The Fine Print** Prices shown are cash prices for a private fishing trip for up to 6 people MAX. If you have more than six people, we can arrange for additional boats to accommodate your party. All prices include a cash discount, please add 3% for all credit card sales. Payments accepted are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and cash. Valid credit card information will be needed to hold the trip date. The card will not be charged for trip cost unless authorized by card holder. No Shows and Cancellations, not made within 48 hours of trip date, will be charged full price of trip on the credit card provided to hold trip with. Cancellations due to bad weather will be at the Captains discretion and trip will be rescheduled if available. Trip prices include all bait, ice, license, rod and tackle. You need to bring your own drinks, snacks, sunscreen (no spray on sunscreen please), etc. Tips greatly appreciated!!
